The six young Breton released. Solidarity for their lawsuit in Nantes on February 12th

The six young men for the reunified Brittany (1), accused and questioned by Police have been released from their garde à vue, « police custody » of 23 up to 40 hours for some of them.

For recall : three young Breton (18 to 23 years old) had been caught « red-handed » by police in the Monday 29th to Tuesday 30th night of December 2008, near the « Pays de la Loire » region Hall in Nantes. Three other ones have then been caught at their residence on Tuesday afternoon. The six of them have had their residences searched.

The 6 militants of the reunification of Brittany recognized the facts for which they had been accused, namely symbolic actions against the « Pays de la Loire », or PdL, propaganda.

Buildings of the PdL region Hall were soiled before the intervention of the night watchmen and the police.

Carriages of T.E.R. (Express Regional Trains) showing PdL region logo had also been smeared with paint and coaltar bulbs.

A gathering of support took place on Wednesday December 31th in front of the PdL Region Hall at 2 30 pm. More than forty people participated there. The present people went then to the police station, where the 6 young militants ended up being released.

Following the inculpations, a lawsuit will take place in Nantes on February 12th 2009. Let us thus stick toghether with these 6 young people: let us take part in the necessary moral and financial supports that will be set up in a few days time. More news soon.

(1) Reunified Brittany : the Loire-Atlantique department has been parted from Brittany and belongs to the « Pays de la Loire » région which main town is Nantes, the former capital of Brittany ! Breton people don't agree and fight by many means to have Brittany reunified with its 5 historical and cultural departments.
