Plaid Cymru Rural Affairs Minister, Elin Jones, today pledged to protect and promote rural Wales while on a visit to north Wales agricultural markets. Ms Jones said that she would continue to fight for the future of CAP payments which are currently under threat from the Tory-LibDem Westminster government. Speaking to farmers in Ruthin and Llanrwst Elin Jones also announced a series of ambitious proposals that will help promote and develop rural Wales in the coming years.
