NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE A specialist UK police force which the Celtic League has unsuccessfully sought information about is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. The Civil Nuclear Constabulary is a ?malicious? body, that?s the claim of two serving female members of the force who last year successfully pursued a sex discrimination case against the force. The deion the women provide of the force in the attached news report should not make comfortable reading given that this is an organisation charged with protecting some of the most critically sensitive nuclear sites across the United Kingdom (link). (voir le site) The Celtic League have been pursuing the UK HMIC (so far unsuccessfully) for a response about earlier allegations of indiscipline within the force one of only two UK forces whose officers are routinely armed. We have also urged the Council of Europe inspection body (the CPT) to put the force on its list for early examination (link).
