New Programme on Man Targets Women

Communiqué de presse publié le 7/01/15 7:10 dans Europe par pour

NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE As part of its 2015 programming Manx Radio (the Isle of Mans National Radio Station) has introduced a daily one hour magazine programme called Women Today. Although primarily aimed at its target audience the programme presenters suggest it will also have a broader focus. There?s a link to a news item on the issue on the Manx Radio (MR) news site ? here: (voir le site) So why has it taken so long for such a programme to be scheduled? After all Manx Radios ?big brother Corporation? (the BBC) has had ?Woman?s Hour? for years. While in Ireland RTE had a programme with the same title as Manx Radio?s new offering in the 1970s. RTE?s ?Women Today? was at the time described as a ?landmark radio current affairs programme?. Perhaps MR schedulers are putting their house in order ahead of the draft ?Equality Bill 2015?. Who knows? J B Moffatt (Mr) Director of Information 05/01/15 (Please note that replies to correspondence received by the League and posted on CL News are usually scanned hard copies.
