Every year the Breton association of Ireland BreizhEire is organizing a day around the Breton language in Ireland, together this year with the twinning committee of Galway-Lorient.

This day is organized in order to gather all Breton speakers of the island, and as well raise some money for the Breton speaking of Diwan in Brittany.

A topic for this year will be the project of gathering children in the area of Galway on a weekly basis for them to learn Breton.

This year it will be happening on Saturday the 14th of February in Galway:

— Crepes (pancakes) session at the Spanish Arch Museum at noon ;

— Fest noz / Ceílli at the Arus na nGael at 8.30 pm.
