NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE CRIME SPREE IN NORTH WALES MATCHES MANX EXPERIENCE As the Isle of Man is shaken out of its relatively crime free idyll by a sustained series of what appear to be organised and coordinated burglaries a similar crime spree is ongoing in one of our close neighbours Wales. Mann has seen somewhere in the region of 50-60 burglaries over a three month period an unusual and unpleasant spike in an intrusive crime until recently ?relatively? uncommon on the Island. The exact number of crimes is unclear because bizarrely the Manx Police have stopped releasing information on the level of incidents ? something which the Celtic League has criticised. Meanwhile North Wales to appear to be suffering a similar crime surge and police there have issued comprehensive information on the type of incidents and the tactics being used by the perpetrators. Three counties, Flintshire, Wrexham and Denbighshire are the worst affected.
