CL News End of Year Housekeeping!

Communiqué de presse publié le 1/01/15 23:10 dans Europe par pour

NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE CL NEWS END OF YEAR HOUSEKEEPING! Just to end the year with a note about the group. You will recall some weeks ago we unfortunately had unauthorised posts made to the group (at least one of which was mildly abusive). Until that point the CL News site had been open access for years without a hitch. That is to say anyone who came on the site could read the posts. Obviously after that episode we had to restrict access which means no inconvenience if you are a current subscriber to the group or if you spot it on the net and choose to subscribe. Subscribers receive the CL News posts in the normal way ? indeed I think you should have had three (excluding this one today). However one downside is that we do not pick up ?passing traffic? i.e. people who see the site and can read the stories without subscribing. Because of the way Yahoo is structured there does not seem to be a way round this ? but we are looking! In the meantime I note we have about 700+ subscribers and many of these belong to like minded groups. So the message is if you can encourage any persons likely to be interested in the CL News reports to subscribe please do so. Also a lot of the back articles are archived (open access) on the main Celtic League website at: (voir le site) The celticleague.net archive is updated almost daily with the posts from CL News. Rhisiart Talebot the General Secretary currently has the archive completed back to 2010 with a sprinkling of articles before that. He is hoping to eventually expand the archive further ? but he only has one pair of hands and he is also editing Carn at present ? so bear with us. Anyway on that note: Blein Vie Noa ? Happy New Year to all subscribers. J B Moffatt (Mr) Director of Information 31/12/14 Note: CL News is also reposted on various other sites such as Agence Bretagne Presse and Trans-Celtic (Please note that replies to correspondence received by the League and posted on CL News are usually scanned hard copies. Obviously every effort is made to ensure the scanning process is accurate but sometimes errors do occur.) ISSUED BY THE CELTIC LEAGUE INFORMATION SERVICE. The Celtic League has branches in the six Celtic Countries. It works to promote cooperation between these countries and campaigns on a broad range of political, cultural and environmental matters. It highlights human rights abuse, monitors all military activity and focuses on socio-economic issues Internet site at: (voir le site) (voir le site)
