Communiqué de presse publié le 12/09/14 11:10 dans Europe par pour

Celtic League News In just over a week?s time, the Scottish people are about to make one of the most important political decisions in the history of our Celtic nations. A Scottish vote for Yes! on 18th September 2014 will not only mean that Scotland will gain its political freedom for the first time in over 300 years, it will be a monumental marker in the march towards independence for all our Celtic countries. The well known 'Six Nations, One Soul' motto highlights the significance each nation holds for the other. Without each constituent part, the Celtic knot that lies at the heart of our togetherness, eternal and unified, would not be complete. Injustice has marred our long history and the suppression and oppression of our languages, cultures and heritage for material gain, from within and without, has caused enduring damage; but it is a damage that can be heeled with time, courage, vision and above all, political independence. A Scotland free is a goal for all members of the Celtic League, because it is a victory for each of our nations. The aim of the Celtic League is to support through peaceful means the struggle of the Celtic Nations - Alba, Breizh, Cymru, Éire, Kernow and Mannin - to win or to secure the political, cultural, social and economic freedom they need for their survival and development as distinct communities. Next week Scotland has the opportunity to vote for a future that will allow its people to make a change for the better; for Scotland and all the Celtic peoples. A Yes! to independence vote on 18th September 2014 is the culmination of hundreds of years of endeavour. An independent Scotland is inevitable and the18th September 2014 is a chance for the Scottish people to show the world that their time for freedom has come. The Celtic League supports Scotland and the other Celtic nations in their own complex paths towards independence.
