a dotKER domain name?

It has been agreed that the Celtic League will support campaigns to secure internet domain names for four of the Celtic countries.

The Celtic League AGM earlier this month considered a resolution from the Cornish branch urging cooperation between Scotland, Brittany, Wales and Cornwall over the issue. Both Ireland and Mannin already have identified official domain names (IE and IM respectively).

The meeting resolved that:

«This AGM supports the campaign to secure a .KER internet domain name for Kernow and encourages closer cooperation between the .SCO, .BZH, .CYM and .KER campaigns to secure internet domain names for Alba, Breizh, Cymru and Kernow respectively.»

It was agreed that the General Secretary and the Cornish branch would progress the resolution.
