The latest issue of "Six Nations" the newsletter of the Celtic Leagues small, but energetic, American Branch is now available. As usual there is a rich mix of articles from the various Celtic countries.

The "Welsh Chair" report on the cover opens with an article on Prince William's likely accession to the title 'Prince of Wales', entitled "Does Wales Want William". Other Welsh items include a report on Landmark Wales and its attempt to choose a iconic landmark creation for Wales that will rival England's controversial 'Angel of the North', a rare butterfly and Welsh fungus!

Scotland is covered with a report on the National Plan for Gaelic whilst Mann is mentioned with a report on Kansas born singer songwriter, Ashley Davis, who has been collecting and recording Manx-language songs, and has incorporated the old Manx melody of "Arrane Oie Vie" into her song "Rhiannon's Lullaby", on her CD "Closer to You". The award of the 'Reih Bleeaney Vanannan' trophy to Dollin Kelly is also covered.

The Cornish page opens with a report on language developments and also has a somewhat emotive item headed 'Evil Banner of Blood' which covers concerns in Kernow about the flying of the St. George's Flag.

The newsletter closes with a comprehensive film review of the Ken Loach film on the Irish war of Independence 1919-1921 and subsequent Civil War and also a round-up of forthcoming conferences, courses and Celtic events in the US and Canada.
