Irish and Welsh branch league presence at Frongoch March
There was a strong contingent from An Conradh Ceilteach, the Celtic League Irish branch, who joined colleagues from Yr Undeb Geltaidd – Cangen Cymru, Wales Branch Celtic League to support a very well attended March in North Wales today to commemorate those prisoners from the 1916 Easter Rising who were imprisoned at the Frongoch camp in Wales immediately after the surrender and execution of the leaders of the rising.
The march was well supported by a number of groups from Ireland and also members of the expatriate Irish community in the UK.

Additionally in the picture accompanying the news report below Cathal O Luain who is currently the Convenor of the Celtic League is pictured on the front right of the banner (wearing a peaked cap and white shirt):
The Frongoch commemoration is one of a continuing number of events organised throughout this centenary year by the Irish branch of the League which have included wreath laying at Easter (to coincide with the AGM of the League in Dublin) and also a number of talks including one on Frongoch.
Cathal O Luain was also interviewed by BBC TV Cymru News and I hope if possible to source a clip of this in due course.
