NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE Decolonisation will be on the agenda for the 2015 Celtic League AGM to be held at the Conradh na Gaeilge HQ in Dublin in April. A draft resolution will be moved calling on the UN Committee on decolonisation to redouble its efforts to ensure that all the remaining territories and dependencies of the old colonial powers such as France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands are advanced to full independence in a set time frame. The meeting will also be asked to support a call to the UN Committee of Twenty Four to seek agreement so that all territories and dependencies over which colonial powers retain a final responsibility are ?listed? for decolonisation on the ?UN list of non-self governing territories?.
