The Isle of Man government has been asked why, three years after the Human Rights Act was introduced, it has not adopted the «Paris Principles» and established National Institution(s) to monitor Rights compliance. (See Below:

Dear Mrs Williams,

Ref: Human Rights Act

Bearing in mind that the Isle of Man Human Rights Act came into force in November 2006 can we ask when the Isle of Man government intends to take steps to facilitate `National Institutions' to monitor the effectiveness of the legislation in line with the so-called `Paris Principles' of the United Nations.

Yours Sincerely,
